All About Me

Explore My Story

One day I had an epiphany – I didn’t want to ever work again. Like ever!

But you can’t just tell friends and family that you’ve retired in your 50’s, so I hatched a cunning plan.  I started writing books so that I could sit around the house all day in my pyjamas and whenever people would ask me what I’d did, I’d tell them I was an author and that I was writing my next book.

This approach hasn’t failed me yet. It stops people in their tracks.

It certainly makes my social engagements far more interesting.

My Writing Philosophy

Embracing Humor in Writing

I weave humour into the narrative, believing wit is the backbone of engaging storytelling. My goal is to have readers laugh while keeping them engaged.

Travel as Inspiration

I transform my journeys into captivating narratives, weaving personal anecdotes with historical and cultural threads. My stories reveal how new destinations shape creative thought, inviting readers to explore the world through fresh eyes.

The Art of Nonsense

I revel in the absurd, painting reality with a brush dipped in hyperbole. My tales dance on the razor's edge of believability, turning everyday experiences into delightfully nonsensical adventures.

The Author’s Lifestyle

I thrive in the unconventional rhythm of an author's life. Creativity blooms in lazy mornings and midnight musings. My office? Anywhere inspiration strikes—be it a bench by the sea or a café in Rome

My First Book

“European Nonsense – The French Connection”, was a travel and history book, in the style of Bill Bryson and Tim Moore.

My Latest Book

“Subcontinental Nonsense – Karachi to Kathmandu”, is a travelogue with a twist; a father and son tale that spans generations and borders.
